Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapy based on the science of learning.
The aim of CBT is to first understand the relationship between distressing emotions and underlying patterns of thinking and behavior. We then work together to find alternative, more helpful perspectives and responses, with the ultimate goal of reducing distress and improving wellbeing.
