-
Can I schedule an online session?
At the moment I do offer online sessions if necessary although I do have a preference for face-to-face sessions.
-
Will my insurance reimburse therapy fees?
Generally speaking, if clients get a doctor’s referral for psychotherapy before the 2nd session, Austrian insurance companies will reimburse part of the fee.
At the moment (2022) the reimbursement is organised as follows:
ÖGK: 28 Euro per session
SVS and BVA: 40 Euro per session
To get up-to-date information on the correct amount please contact your insurance provider.
With private insurance, I recommend to contact your provider directly, since reimbursement depends on your insurance plan.
Of course, I will help you with all the paperwork once you apply for reimbursement.
-
Can I cancel an appointment?
Please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise I have to charge you for the full session.
-
Is therapy confidential?
Psychotherapy is subject to strict confidentiality under Austrian law. Whatever you tell your therapist stays between you and them, except in certain rare cases, such as when there is an imminent danger to yourself or others.
